Overview

ImaginGO is a creative thinking platform designed to shift the way people approach problem-solving and innovation. Unlike tools focused on creating assets or designs, ImaginGO helps users unlock new ways of thinking through continuous creative exercises. These exercises build mental flexibility and foster the kind of creative confidence needed in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape.

I cofounded ImaginGO with my sister, Kathleen. She is the CEO and I am the COO/CPO.

Approach

Approach

ImaginGO's method focuses on equipping users—whether individuals or teams—with practical, repeatable exercises that nurture creative thinking from the ground up. By guiding participants through a series of challenges designed to break conventional thinking patterns, ImaginGO primes users to contribute more effectively to brainstorming sessions and innovation processes. The exercises are structured to ensure long-term impact, gradually expanding the participants' ability to generate fresh ideas and solutions, regardless of their role or industry.

Since ImaginGO is designed for elementary education, my goal was to make it both fun and engaging. I wanted children to not only be excited about solving open-ended problems but also eager to use ImaginGO as the tool to do so. I designed the software to feel like a video game, but unlike typical games, the focus is on encouraging students to concentrate on their thoughts and ideas rather than the interface itself.

I created and branded all of the ImaginGO exercises (called GOGO's) so that they can easily be identified and playful. One of our goals was to create a new language or jargon for engaging with ImaginGO. "Let's do a Hachoogie!" or, "What did you think about that Inventci?"

Unlike some of the businesses I have started in the past, with ImaginGO, I have been extremely patient. We are still proving the market through a highly functional MVP. We are getting positive reviews but we are still struggling with sales. The "willingness to pay" has not been established although many educators say that they want ImaginGO.

I have setup customer feedback loops and have received enough feedback to make some changes to the MVP.

We believe there isn't a better time than now to foster creative thinking. With people offloading tasks and general thinking to AI, creative thinking will be necessary to keep people in balance and in-check.
